Any Day Is Okay To Begin
by Dr. Paul Martin Henebury - Monday, 6 September 2010, 07:11 PM

We are sometimes asked by prospective students whether they will have to put off starting their Veritas studies until the next semester. The great thing about us is that you can begin any time you wish. We realize how much "life" and "work" get in the way and we help you work around it.

So don't let locked-in semesters confound your hopes. Sign up with Veritas today! After all, at the end of the day what matters is that you learn God's Truth!

Today's The Day!
by Dr. Paul Martin Henebury - Monday, 9 August 2010, 10:30 AM

Today marks the beginning of our third and final semester of 2010. The Fall Semester features an important new course on Introduction to Biblical Counseling. Each of our established courses are enrollable as well. We are glad to have "old" students back and new students join us for this new semester!

Veritas continues to receive very positive feedback about its courses, whether they be undergraduate or graduate level. We are grateful for these reviews, though not surprised. Considerable thought and effort goes into each class offered. We take our calling seriously and will not skimp on quality for the sake of quantity. You can view our list of Available Courses here. And remember, if it suits you better, you can begin a course at any time during the year.

It's never too late to study at Veritas!

New Course: Introduction to Biblical Counseling
by Dr. Paul Martin Henebury - Thursday, 22 July 2010, 04:54 PM

It used to be that those Christians who dabbled in secular psychological theories would call themselves "Christian Counselors." This was not to be taken in any other sense than that they were Christians who "counseled" - perhaps with one or two Bible verses thrown in to their otherwise non-Christian approaches. Recently, however, these "integrationists" have begun calling themselves "Biblical Counselors", and this has led to confusion.

True Biblical Counselors use Scripture alone (or books committed to that principle) and eschew any use of worldly psychology. It is this kind of approach that is supported at Veritas School of Theology.

We are happy to now launch our first counseling course with Keith Palmer's "Introduction to Biblical Counseling." Further, this course qualifies as part of Phase 1 of NANC certification! Pastor Palmer seeks personal transformation of the student that will lead them to seek to help others.

This class begins August 9th!

β€œThe ultimate goal of our quest is a knowledge of God.
We are not interested in doctrines merely as doctrines,
but as they bring us to know God.”

- D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Great Doctrines of the Bible, 34.
